Winemaking: Harvested from our estate vineyard, foot trod by our neighborhood children, pressed to tank. Settled overnight, and moved to neutral barrels for fermentation.  After fermentation the wine was left on its gross lees and we topped up the barrels.

Notes: Tropical and floral in the nose, the mouthfeel is lucious and pleasing.  White flowers, vanilla, white pepper and ripe peach come to mind when experiencing this wine.  Definitely a serious Viognier and has a serious nod to the southern france expressions.

Vineyard: Boekenoogen Vineyard, Santa Lucia Highlands; Farmed by the Caraccioli family

Barrel Progarm: 50% French Oak, 50% Neutral Oak

Winemaking: 100% barrel fermentation; 100% malo lactic fermentation

Finished wine: 13.7% alc.

Time in Barrel: 7 months

Notes: Bright aromatics of butter sweat cream, with toasty oak, melding with baked green apple. Meyer lemon with a hint of its candied rind in the front of the experience followed by a round mineral mid-palate, finishing into a long pleasant finish.

Varietal: 100% Sauvignon Blanc

Vineyard: Arroyo Seco. The vineyard is a secret!

Barrel Program: 100% Stainless Steel

Cases Produced: 140

Winemaking: Pressed to tank, then racked the following day for clean juice and a clean fermentation Cold fermentation in tank 10 days. Moved to stainless steel barrels. No malolactic is allowed. Aged 5 months later to retain freshness.

Finished wine: 12.5% alc

Brix at Harvest: 23.0

Finished ph: 3.2

Notes: Tropical fruits, especially guava, and hints of Meyer lemon on the nose followed with bright acidity and a clean finish on the palette .
